F2P pull strategy
NTE F2P pull plan
Free-to-play planning is not about never pulling. It is about knowing why you pull, when to stop, and what future option you are giving up.
Separate three reasons to pull
A favorite pull is valid because you like the character. An account-strength pull is valid because the unit solves a real team problem. A fear-of-missing-out pull is dangerous because it usually has no stopping rule.
Before opening the banner, write the reason down. If the reason is favorite, accept the account cost. If the reason is strength, compare the character with your current roster and the next banner. If the reason is only hype, wait a day.
Use a stop point
A stop point protects the account from emotional spending. It can be a currency floor, a pity count, a first-copy target, or a decision to skip signature equipment. Pick the stop point before pulling, not after a bad streak.
For many low-spend accounts, one strong character plus a stable team gives more value than chasing a perfect weapon, Arc, or extra copy immediately.
F2P pull checklist
- Does this banner solve a role you lack?
- Do you still have currency for the next character you care about?
- Will this pull force you to delay key upgrades?
- Are you chasing a favorite knowingly or pretending it is mandatory meta?
- Have you checked the in-game timer and any announced next phase?
