Zhi Dongxi Author | Bi Weihao Editor | Mo Ying Zhi Dongxi reported on July 18 that when he walked to the innermost exhibition area of WAIC Hall 1, there was a "house" filled with people. If it weren't for the robots, chips, and various AI model introductions standing around, I almost thought I had traveled to the house of the future. When you go home and say "I'm back", the tea bar will automatically pour you a cup of warm water. The robot dog will run over and ask you how your day was and if you have any interesting stories to share. When you lie on the bed, the smart mattress will ask if you want a massage. If you say you are bored, the smart TV will push popular TV series. There is no remote control or app in the whole process, everything happens naturally. This is not a demonstration set in advance. It is a set of real-life "AI Home" model rooms built by JD.com on-site at WAIC based on the attached smart JoyInside. The living room, kitchen, study room, and bedroom are all available. Table lamps, mattresses, tea bar machines, plush toys - every piece of equipment in the house seems to have a brain that can understand people's intentions and actively participate in the coordination of the entire family's activities. But at the WAIC site, JD.com wanted to show not just a room, but also a complete answer to how AI enters the physical world. The relevant person in charge of the JD Discovery Research Institute said: "The entire JD Group will use AI to empower future development and make JD the world's largest physical world operation center." Outside the exhibition area, a sub-forum was being held simultaneously. If the exhibition area is answering "What does it look like if AI enters the physical world?", then the forum is explaining how JD.com will take this road to becoming "the world's largest physical world operation center." 1. AI enters the physical world, and JD.com’s first stop is the home. In the JD.com forum, the relevant person in charge of JD.com Discovery Research Institute believes: “With the development of artificial intelligence to this day, research on digital AI has been advanced enough, but the current model is still unable to control the real physical world. JD.com’s overall strategy is to carry out technical development and iteration based on the path from digital AI to physical AI.” And JD.com’s AI is the first to enter the physical world.
