ChatGPT’s iPhone app this week added a more convenient shortcut that allows users to quickly attach recent photos to conversations. This operation is designed for users who rely on ChatGPT for quick visual searches, eliminating the need to open a photo library. Long press the plus sign to display recent photos. In the past, when adding photos, users needed to tap the plus sign, then tap Photos, and then select a photo from the photo library. Adam Fry of OpenAI said on X that users only need to press and hold the plus button on the left side of the prompt box to display the last four photos. Four photos can be attached instantly. Users can select one of four recent photos to join the conversation and ask ChatGPT a question, or use the photo as part of a prompt. Visual feature still region-restricted Although Visual Intelligence for iOS has been available for nearly two years, the feature is still limited to newer iPhone models and is not available in all regions. Multiple features updated in the same week This new shortcut was launched in the same week as other ChatGPT improvements, including more accurate awareness of the current time, faster loading and better performance of long conversations on the web, and clearer interface updates while waiting for an Internet connection.
