Intelligent Things Author | Yunpeng Editor | Mo Ying Now, imagine some of these scenarios: When you encounter something you don’t understand in class, tap twice on the recording bean clipped to your collar. After class, the AI will start talking from the moment you click and answer your questions carefully, without raising your hand or interrupting anyone; When a courier is lost, the AI system directly analyzes it frame by frame through the camera, intelligently locks the suspicious person, quickly locates it, and outputs a spliced and complete video, saving a lot of manual review time and significantly reducing communication costs; In the homes of European users on the other side of the ocean, the home energy storage intelligent dispatching system optimizes the light and storage economy through AI, reduces solar energy waste, and saves users hundreds of euros in electricity bills a year; Today, these scenes are by no means empty talk, but excellent works produced by the contestants in the 24-hour Anker AI Hackathon Competition. These works have mature concept concepts, and are even based on real Anke smart hardware products, and they really "ran" at the competition site. Behind the scenes and works was a big competition: more than 1,800 applications from more than 180 universities and developer communities went through layers of selection. In the end, 33 teams reached the offline finals and completed the transformation from ideas to demonstrable and verifiable results within 24 hours. Four champion teams stood out. In the past, making such a running version within 24 hours was the biggest highlight of the hackathon itself. But today, with the assistance of AI, the cost of "quickly writing a demo" is approaching zero. Stack Overflow's 2025 Developer Survey shows that 84% of developers are using or planning to use AI tools. What is really scarce in hackathons is no longer coding ability, but real problems worth solving, interfaces that can be connected to the real world, and where to go after the work is completed. Anker’s first hackathon competition provides a new observable sample. 1. The value of 24 hours is being redefined “What the Internet changes is distance, what the AI era changes is time.” This is Anker Innovation CIO Neil’s judgment on AI. Anke verified this sentence himself first. install
