Kuai Technology reported on July 6 that the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit has been scheduled for September 23 to 25, Beijing time, and will officially release the 2nm flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen6 series. Based on various sources, the new product will be launched globally by the Xiaomi Mi 18 series, with a high probability of being officially released on September 24 (Thursday). The Xiaomi 18 series is still the first to debut with three models, namely Xiaomi 18, Xiaomi 18 Pro, and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max. Blogger Digital Chat Station today exposed some of the highlight specifications of Xiaomi Mi 18 Pro Max, and the imaging part has been upgraded to extra-large cup specifications. Specifically, first of all, the screen is still a super pixel direct screen, which uses 1K power consumption to obtain 2K clarity, and adopts a large R-angle and extremely narrow four-equilateral solution. The image has an exclusive 200-megapixel LOFIC super outsole main camera + 200-megapixel outsole telephoto macro, coupled with an ultra-wide angle, forming a dual 200-megapixel triple camera combination. In terms of performance, the new phone is naturally equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen6 Pro, which uses TSMC’s N2P improved 2nm GAA process. The transistor density is 30% higher than the previous generation 3nm, and power consumption control and sustained performance are significantly optimized. It uses the third-generation Oryon 2+3+3 three-cluster eight-core CPU and 16MB L2 cache, paired with Adreno 850 GPU, 18MB dedicated graphics cache, supports LPDDR6 high-speed memory, and refreshes history in terms of on-device AI computing power, light-tracing games, and local large model running capabilities. In terms of battery life, Xiaomi Mi 18 Pro Max will be equipped with a large battery of over 8000mAh and support 100W flash charging + wireless charging. In other aspects, the new phone will be upgraded with dual Yang + large-size motors, and the unique back screen will continue to be retained, inheriting the unique selling points of the previous generation.
