Jin Yuzhi, CEO of Huawei Smart Car Solutions BU, reiterated in his keynote speech that Huawei is committed to becoming an "electronic screw" in the era of smart connected cars. He mentioned that Huawei does not want to be a competitor in the industry, but only an enabler of the industry, helping its car company partners to build and sell good cars. Huawei has used its technology accumulation in ICT over the past 30 years to expand its automotive application areas. For example, lidar uses Huawei's underlying core technology in optical communications, millimeter wave radar uses Huawei's core technology in the wireless 5G field, and computing power uses Huawei's accumulation in the field of Ascend artificial intelligence. Currently, the total installed capacity of Huawei Qiankun Zhijia has exceeded 1.9 million units. By the end of August this year, the total installed capacity of Huawei Qiankun Zhijia and Hongmeng Cockpit will have exceeded 2 million. Jin Yuzhi bluntly said that this is a new milestone for the industry.
