All old users of Changan Qiyuan Laser Edition models can upgrade to Tianshu Pilot Pro for free via OTA.

IT House reported on August 10 that Changan Qiyuan today officially announced the OTA upgrade plan for old users of Tianshu Pilot: 1. Changan Qiyuan laser version model users will all upgrade to Tianshu Pilot Pro for free; 2. Upgrade time: October 15-December 30, 2026, OTA push will be completed in batches; 3. Covered models: Qiyuan Q07 Laser Edition, Qiyuan A06 Laser version, new Q05 laser version. In addition, Changan Qiyuan announced the launch of the "Urban Smart Driving Pioneer Experience Officer" recruitment plan. It will invite the first batch of registered users based on the pace of product development to enter the test site, communicate with engineers face-to-face, and be the first to experience the "end-to-end" city pilot NOA function. According to IT House's report in June this year, Changan Automobile released its self-developed assisted driving system - "Tianshu Pilot" at the 2026 Chongqing Auto Show. Tianshu Pilot is divided into three configuration versions: Pro, Max, and Ultra, corresponding to different capability levels: The Pro version is equipped with lidar as standard, which can identify obstacles 2 seconds earlier than the human eye in low-light scenes such as night and tunnels; developed based on Changan SDA central ring network architecture, the system response speed is increased by 150 milliseconds; the Max version uses more than 20 million high-quality human driving data slices for training, improving the traffic efficiency in high-frequency commuting scenes 20%, officials claim that it can navigate complex extreme scenes with ease; the Ultra version is equipped with a large VLM visual language model to realize an interactive assisted driving system, and will also launch an active protection function for driver disability in the future.
