A 16-core Ryzen is packed into the mini machine! GIMOC EVO-X5 exposed: Radeon 8065S graphics card + 128GB memory

Kuai Technology reported on August 15 that a yet-to-be-released EVO-X5 mini console from Geekbench appeared in the Geekbench database. The machine is equipped with the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor, which is the flagship model in the Ryzen AI Max PRO 400 series, with the development codename Gorgon Halo. Geekbench shows that the prototype is equipped with 128GB of memory and has a Vulkan score of 103,729. Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 is based on TSMC’s 4nm process and uses a 16-core 32-thread Zen 5 architecture CPU with a maximum acceleration frequency of 5.2GHz. The integrated graphics card is Radeon 8065S, with 40 RDNA 3.5 computing units and a frequency of 3.0GHz. The NPU has a computing power of 55 TOPS, and the XDNA 2 architecture provides dedicated acceleration for local AI reasoning. Gorgon Halo is an upgraded version of Strix Halo. The two architectures are basically the same, but Gorgon Halo increases the unified memory limit from 128GB to 192GB LPDDR5X-8533. Up to 160GB can be allocated as video memory. Processor TDP is configurable from 45W to 120W. AMD officially released the Ryzen AI Max PRO 400 series on May 20, 2026, and OEM products are expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2026. GeekWire has previously confirmed that EVO-X3 will launch a version equipped with the same processor and 192GB of memory. The emergence of EVO-X5 means that GeekWire is preparing a second Gorgon Halo platform mini-host. At present, the design, price and launch time of EVO-X5 have not been announced. Since Geekbench detected a 128GB memory configuration, whether the 192GB version will be available on the EVO-X5 remains to be officially confirmed.
