Nvidia N1X’s first Cinebench 2026 benchmark scores exposed: Microsoft Surface Ultra engineering prototype appears, single-core score close to Apple M3 Max

IT House reported on July 18 that the whistleblower @ExoticSpice101 today released the first Cinebench 2026 test data of the NVIDIA N1X chip. The test platform is a Surface Ultra engineering prototype. The machine achieved single-core scores of 540 points and multi-core scores of 5771 points in the test. The single-core performance is said to be "comparable to Apple M3 Max." Of course, Nvidia and Microsoft have not announced the official performance data of the N1X, and this data is for reference only. Cinebench 2026 is a benchmark testing tool launched by Maxon for the new generation of processors. It is mainly used to evaluate the performance of the CPU in multi-threaded computing tasks such as rendering. Since engineering prototypes may be affected by firmware, drivers, power strategies, and thermal design, the final product performance may still vary. N1X is one of the important chips used by Nvidia and Microsoft to promote the Windows on Arm high-performance PC ecosystem. Microsoft and NVIDIA have announced the RTX Spark platform on May 31, 2026. The platform is based on Arm architecture CPU and combined with NVIDIA Blackwell GPU technology. It supports up to 20 Arm CPU cores, 6144 Blackwell RTX cores and up to 128GB of unified memory. It is targeted at developers, creators and local AI application scenarios. The first related device announced by Microsoft, Surface Laptop Ultra, also uses the RTX Spark platform. Officials said that the product will be equipped with NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU and support up to 128GB of unified memory and CUDA ecosystem for local AI model running, 3D rendering and development work. Previous information released by Microsoft showed that the device is planned to be available later in 2026.
