(referred to as "Yunbao Intelligent")'s GEM IPO application was officially accepted by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. It became another company that chose the fourth set of GEM listing standards to apply for listing, and became the first domestic DPU stock. Looking back 6 years ago, Stanford Ph.D. Xiao Qiyang founded Yunbao Intelligence in Shenzhen, focusing on the DPU track. Two months after the team set sail, the 100 billion DPU track began to explode. So far, behind him stands a long team of investors including Tencent. Tencent is undoubtedly the largest shareholder and has become the largest shareholder of Cloud Leopard Intelligence. Together with Yuexin Semiconductor, which Guangdong State-owned Assets is betting on, Yunbao Intelligent has become another iconic semiconductor case in the Greater Bay Area. A Stanford doctor has created a Shenzhen unicorn that is about to IPO. Let’s start with founder Xiao Qiyang. He was born in Hong Kong, China, and went to the United States to study in his early years. His academic resume is extremely dazzling: he graduated with the highest honors (Summa Cum Laude) from New York University (Bachelor of Mathematics and Computer Science) and Cooper University in New York (Bachelor of Electrical Engineering). He received a PhD in electrical engineering from Stanford University at the age of 24. Since then, he has taught at the University of California, Irvine, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. During his PhD, Xiao Qiyang focused on artificial intelligence and neural networks. One of his achievements has solved a theoretical problem that has been unsolved in the field of AI for more than 30 years. It was highly praised by Marvin Minsky, the "father of artificial intelligence", who wrote the preface himself. The first time he started his own business was in 2002. He co-founded the chip company RMI in Silicon Valley, which was later acquired by Broadcom at a high price of US$3.7 billion in cash, which shocked the industry. In 2020, seeing the opportunity for domestic replacement of computing power, Xiao Qiyang started his own business again. Taking into account domestic talent and cost advantages, in August of this year, he returned to Shenzhen to start Yunbao Intelligence - specializing in DPU when many people were still discussing CPU and GPU. Coincidentally, not long after, Nvidia officially launched the DPU concept at the GTC conference. Huang Renxun proposed the "three-core" strategy of "CPU+DPU+GPU".
