The "Global Power Development Index (2026)" research report released at the event shows that China's comprehensive ranking of power development ranks among the top in the world, with power technology innovation ranking first in the world. The report evaluates the power development level of 100 countries around the world from four dimensions: supply security, consumer services, green and low-carbon, and technological innovation. The top five countries in the comprehensive development level are Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, China, and Norway; China ranks first in the world in power technology innovation, ranks first in the world in total installed clean energy capacity, and leads the world in the application of digital and intelligent power technology. The report shows that the total installed capacity of new energy in the world will exceed 3.95 billion kilowatts in 2025, accounting for nearly 40% of the total installed capacity of global electricity. The transformation of global electricity is accelerating. Technologies such as artificial intelligence, digital twins, and virtual power plants are moving from demonstration to large-scale application. The Global Energy Internet Development and Cooperation Organization is the first international organization in the energy field initiated by China. It has 1,450 members worldwide and covers 145 countries. IT House inquires and learned that at present, my country's installed power capacity has exceeded 4 billion kilowatts, exceeding the combined power generation installed capacity of the United States, the European Union, India, Japan, and Russia, and ranking first in the world. It is expected to reach 5.4 billion kilowatts in 2030, of which new energy installed capacity will account for more than 50%, becoming the main part of electricity installation; non-fossil energy power generation will account for 50%, becoming the main part of electricity; coal and oil consumption will peak. From 2010 to 2025, the average annual growth rate of my country's power generation installed capacity reached 9.7%, higher than the United States (1.7%), the European Union (3.2%), India (7.1%), Japan (2.9%), and Russia (1.2%).
