ChatGPT users in the United States and Canada can now complete restaurant reservations (Yelp Reservations) and join the restaurant reservation waitlist (Waitlist) directly through Yelp during the chat process, without jumping to other applications or websites. Yelp said that this integration has further expanded its influence in the field of AI search. Now users in the United States and Canada can first obtain restaurant recommendations through ChatGPT, and if this function is supported, directly complete table reservations or join the waiting list. ChatGPT can help consumers select the number of people to dine, date and time, fill in contact information, add special needs, and finally confirm the reservation. After completing the reservation, subsequent users can also directly modify the reservation information through Yelp. In addition, Yelp also revealed that its own platform has now become "the local life service discovery platform with the most citations by AI" and "among the major AI platforms, its number of citations is 3.4 times ahead of the nearest competitor."
