Kuai Technology reported on October 24 that Dongfeng Fengshen L8+ has been officially launched recently, with a total of 4 models launched. The official guide price is 139,900 to 169,900 yuan, and the limited-time replacement price is 129,900 to 159,900 yuan. The core upgrades of the new car focus on the intelligent driving system and rear comfort configuration. The CLTC pure electric range has also been increased from the current 200km to 220km, and the comprehensive range has reached 1,505km. Intelligent driving is the biggest highlight of this facelift. The two lidar versions are equipped with the Tianyuan Smart Driving T800 system. At the hardware level, the NVIDIA Thor-U chip using the 4nm process is used, with a computing power of 700TOPS. The roof is equipped with a semi-solid lidar, and the entire vehicle has a total of 27 sensing hardware. The software integrates the Momenta R7 physical AI world model and supports mapless city NOA, high-speed NOA, parking space to parking space pilot assistance, cross-floor memory parking, and 150-meter tracking reversing. Memory parking can record routes up to 3 kilometers, and supports up to 7 floors of basements. It should be noted that the 139,900 Excellent Edition and the 149,900 Ultimate Edition are not equipped with lidar. The complete urban NOA capability is only available from the 159,900 Lidar Excellence Edition. In the cockpit, the non-lidar version uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, and the lidar version is upgraded to 8295. It is equipped with 24GB of running memory and 256GB of storage. It runs the Tianyuan OS system and supports up to four voice zone recognition. The rear comfort configuration is another major upgrade focus, with a 15.6-inch 2.5K ceiling screen, 4.5L heating and cooling box, aviation tray table and 19-speaker WANOS panoramic sound system. The seats continue the Yunrou zero-pressure design, the front rows are provided with ventilation, heating and massage memory, and the car has passed the zero-formaldehyde cabin certification. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the L8+ are 4762/1910/1686mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2825mm. It adopts a five-seat layout and is only slightly different in height from the current L8. The appearance continues the design of a closed front face with penetrating light groups. The high-end version has a new lidar on the roof, traditional mechanical door handles are used on the sides of the body, and the internal lighting effects of the taillights have been redesigned.
