However, according to four people familiar with the situation, Tesla engineers generally prefer to use Anthropic and Claude in daily development work. At the same time, xAI released its latest model Grok 4.5 on Wednesday, positioning it as an "Opus-level" model. However, in the comprehensive multi-field rankings, Grok 4.5 only ranked ninth with a comprehensive score of 76.3 points, lagging behind OpenAI, Anthropic and Google's models.
