Driven by AI inference workloads, enterprise SSDs accounted for 48% of global NAND shipments in the second quarter of 2026, nearly double from 26% in the same period last year. Samsung led the way with 25% of shipments, down from 32% in the second quarter of 2024, as it shifted focus to its high-margin DRAM business. SK Hynix ranked second with a 22% share, riding on a 40% sequential surge in Solidigm bit shipments.
