As the construction of low-orbit satellite constellations accelerates, the amount of data that needs to be transmitted between satellites continues to grow, and inter-satellite laser communications are becoming an important infrastructure for satellite Internet. Compared with traditional microwave communications, laser communications have higher bandwidth, lower latency and stronger anti-interference capabilities, and have become an important technical direction for large-scale satellite constellation networking. On July 16, Zhongke Tianta's satellite-borne laser communication intelligent production line was officially put into production in Xi'an. The first-phase planned annual production capacity is 600 units. The company plans to increase the annual production capacity to more than 1,000 units by 2027. According to Zeng Weigang, general manager of Zhongke Tianta, the intelligent production line put into operation covers an area of about 2,000 square meters and is located in the Curvature Engine Photonic Manufacturing Park of Xi'an High-tech Zone. It covers parts assembly, machine integration, precision debugging, space environment simulation and automated testing and other production links. It is equipped with a digital management system and automated testing platform, which can simultaneously complete the performance testing of multiple equipment, and assist product status monitoring and fault identification through intelligent systems. According to the plan, the mass-produced spaceborne laser communication terminal has a communication rate covering 5Gbps to 100Gbps. It has the characteristics of small size, low power consumption, strong anti-interference ability, etc., and can be adapted to different types of low-orbit satellite constellations. The scene of the optical-mechanical assembly production workshop for laser communication terminal products. It is understood that the technology of Zhongke Tianta comes from the more than 20 years of space laser communication research accumulation of Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Machinery"). Xi'an Institute of Optics and Mechanics has been laying out space laser communication technology since 2004, focusing on research and development in the directions of inter-satellite high-speed optical communication, low-light reception, and high-speed coherent communication. It has also undertaken a number of national scientific research tasks. Currently, it has developed more than a hundred sets of spaceborne laser communication terminals, and some products have achieved commercial operation in orbit. The core optical components in the production line were independently developed by Xi'an Institute of Optics and Mechanics. With the launch of the production line, related spaceborne laser communication technology has begun to enter the stage of large-scale manufacturing. In addition to communication terminals, Zhongke Tianta also simultaneously promotes the layout of intelligent aerospace products. Recently, Zhongke Tianta launched a network-wide internal test of the large aerospace vertical model "Huashan". This model is oriented to the development of satellite in-orbit operation scenarios, combining orbit, optoelectronics and aerospace operation and maintenance, etc.
