Kuai Technology News on October 18th, ASUS recently launched the UGen Intel Arc Pro B70 professional graphics card, returning to the Intel independent graphics card market after about five years. The last time ASUS got involved in Intel independent graphics cards was the DG1-4G in 2021. It was based on the Xe-LP architecture, passive cooling, equipped with 80 execution units and 4GB LPDDR4 video memory, and was only compatible with two motherboards. Since then, Asus has skipped the two generations of Ruixuan A series and B series gaming graphics cards. This time Asus returned and chose professional cards instead of game cards. UGen Arc Pro B70 is equipped with Intel BMG-G31 GPU, which has 32 Xe2 cores and 256 XMX engines. It is equipped with 32GB GDDR6 ECC memory, 256-bit width, bandwidth 608 GB/s, GPU maximum frequency 2800MHz, INT8 computing power 367 TOPS, and full card power consumption 310W. The heat dissipation adopts a dual-slot air blast design, the interface is PCIe 5.0 x16, the power supply is 12V-2×6, and the output interface includes three DisplayPort 2.1 and one HDMI 2.1b. ASUS mainly promotes the card's local AI reasoning capabilities. The product page shows a solution for up to four cards in parallel to provide a total of 128GB of video memory, supporting Ollama, Llama.cpp, vLLM, PyTorch and OpenVINO. This is completely different from the positioning of DG1 for entry-level desktop graphics cards back then. ASUS has not yet announced pricing and launch time. ASUS currently has GeForce RTX and Radeon graphics card product lines in the gaming market. It is uncertain whether it will follow up with gaming graphics cards when it returns to Intel professional cards.
