After scanning WeChat’s 16 AI portals, we found that “micro-enterprises” are everywhere

In June of this year, we had an intensive experience with Xiaowei and found 12 entrances in WeChat: chat records, group chats, public account articles, video accounts, pictures, PDFs, Office documents and other content, you can directly "ask Xiaowei". This time, we searched every corner of WeChat again and found that Xiaowei is still "growing". Compared with the previous "asking about content", these new portals are closer to the daily operations of WeChat: you can browse the official account, post to Moments, scan, and even send a sentence to friends, and you can see the shadow of AI. Currently, these features are still in the grayscale testing stage. 1. The official account cannot be seen. Xiaowei will help you summarize it first. The first new entrance appears on the official account message page. After entering the public account news, the small micro logo and "AI summary" will appear on the far left side of the "Frequently Viewed Accounts" column. After clicking, WeChat will automatically jump to Xiaowei and send a summary request. The way it handles it is also very straightforward: it collects and organizes the updates of official accounts that users have seen recently. For users who have subscribed to a large number of public accounts, AI will appear directly in the information flow portal, so you need to screen recent updates first. This is also an obvious idea when we experienced Xiaowei before: WeChat did not recreate a completely independent AI usage habit, but continued to add "small micro" entrances to the original page. 2. Post to Moments, AI will post pictures and text together. The second entrance is hidden in the Moments publishing page. When you upload a picture and prepare to send it to Moments, "AI Help Writing" will appear in the lower right corner of the page, with Xiaowei's familiar "little eyes" next to it. After clicking, Xiaowei will enter a separate dialogue interface and ask: "How can I help you about posting to this circle of friends?"
