Kuai Technology News on August 8. According to media reports, China Vision Technology Group recently announced the completion of the world’s largest AI supercell in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, marking the official start of production of the “Vision Galaxy Base”. This single unit adopts an ultra-high proportion of green electricity direct connection. With a building volume of 120,000 square meters (about 20 standard football fields), a million-card parallel capacity, and a million-P computing power scale, it has become one of the single-unit AI data centers with the highest token production capacity in the world. Currently, China's domestic AI computing power is accelerating towards the interconnection of 100,000 cards or even one million cards, in order to compete with global computing power giants. Envision’s Ulanqab Galaxy Base uses a super cell to carry millions of P computing power, and gathers millions of cards into the super cell to enhance the global competitiveness of Chinese chips with the total computing power of the cluster. It is reported that the "P" here is the computing power unit, and 1P represents one quadrillion floating-point operations per second, which is approximately equivalent to the computing power level of 500,000 mainstream laptops working at the same time. The computing power output scale of Envision Ulanqab Galaxy Base can reach 10 times that of traditional data centers of the same area. In the future, it will set a new global record with super computing power density. In terms of power supply, the "Vision Galaxy Base" makes full use of the advantages of local wind energy and realizes direct supply of green electricity through self-built wind farms and dedicated lines, building a solid green energy base for the world's largest AI supercell with the highest proportion of green electricity.
