Kuai Technology reported on July 18 that recently, the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-Level Conference on Artificial Intelligence Global Governance were held in Shanghai. During the dialogue session of the "Physical World New Paradigm Forum" that was honored at the conference, Shadowstone founder Liu Jingkang described his vision for future hardware: "We usually feel very anxious when going to a tourist attraction, (thinking) to take photos quickly so that we can get out of the circle of friends; when we see a good performance, we really want to record it, but you are looking at the phone screen the whole time instead of enjoying the performance." Liu Jingkang pointed out, "I think that in the future, there will be a type of hardware that will accompany people and help people complete many automated operations and executions in these scenes. When you enjoy performances and scenery, it is like hiring a photographer and letting it automatically take pictures for you." It is understood that this idea is not a fantasy, and Shadow Stone has implemented the relevant layout. On July 9, the company’s 11th anniversary, founder Liu Jingkang mentioned in a letter to all employees that Shadow Stone was going to build robots. The company has specially formed a robot team to directly enter the consumer robot track. The long-term goal is to make a photography robot called "Cameraman". "In the past, we made the camera see more fully, and now we want the camera to move on its own." Liu Jingkang said bluntly. According to reports, Cameraman is not a universal robot. It is essentially an intelligent agent that can take pictures by itself. It can sense the environment, find angles on its own, and automatically follow the composition of the shot. Users only need to immerse themselves in the scene without having to hold up the device to repeatedly find angles.
