He is also firmly opposed to the extension and penetration of this type of completely AI-generated content format into the field of theatrical movies. Hu Xijin also called on more general public to stand with him and jointly boycott low-quality works produced by AI and performed by virtual fake humans. He specifically stated that mature animation is an independent traditional art category and is not within the scope of his boycott. The reason he gave for the boycott is very direct. The core is to protect the jobs of human creators and inherit the human art creation tradition that has accumulated for hundreds of years. We cannot allow AI-generated content to wash away all these precious accumulations like a flood, and use soulless cheap AI feed like feeding assembly line products to completely fill the public’s daily entertainment time without any gaps. In addition, Hu Xijin has also made it clear that he opposes the large-scale commercial application of unmanned taxis in China. He believes that cutting-edge technologies related to autonomous driving can be explored on a small scale, and a small number of pilot taxis can be used to train iterative artificial intelligence algorithms and conduct demonstration operations in local areas. However, this type of business must not flood into the general operating market in large quantities and directly deprive a large number of taxi drivers of their livelihood opportunities. In his view, the original intention of the development of AI technology should be to help mankind, empower every ordinary person, and make everyone's work and life easier.
