IT House reported on October 12 that Xpeng Motors made its debut at the Paris Auto Show today. In addition to launching the Xpeng G9L model, Xpeng also announced news about autonomous driving and humanoid robots. In the field of humanoid robots, the Xpeng Robot production line was officially launched recently. The world's first high-end general-purpose humanoid robot completed automated final assembly and independently walked off the production line. This marks that Xpeng Robot has completed a key leap from R&D and trial production to production line manufacturing, and has taken an important step towards large-scale mass production. According to reports, Xpeng IRON can be said to be the "social ceiling" and has built-in multi-modal interaction capabilities: it can recognize faces of different people, remember the context of conversations, and switch between Chinese, English, and German languages at will. According to the plan, Xpeng will achieve mass production of humanoid robots by the end of 2026 and start delivery in the first half of 2027. It will be the first to launch in commercial scenarios such as stores and shopping malls, and gradually expand to industrial and home scenarios. In the field of autonomous driving, Xpeng’s second-generation VLA realizes capabilities from L2 to L4, and the same model has been deployed on Xpeng’s Robotaxi for L4 autonomous driving. Recently, Xpeng Robotaxi officially launched the Chinese name "Xiaopeng Youyou" and the English name "XPENG YOYO". The taxi-hailing mini program will be launched simultaneously and will gradually be opened to the public for experience, officially entering a new stage of open operation and commercialization exploration for users.
