On November 2, a press conference for the Humanoid Robot and Embodied Intelligence Real-Scene Training Challenge was held in Beijing, announcing the overall arrangement and competition plan of the event, and issuing a team assembly order. Yi Maolin, member of the Standing Committee of the Ma'anshan Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, Liang Liang, deputy secretary-general of the China Electronics Society, Wu Bin, secretary-general of the Ma'anshan Municipal Government, and Teng Qing, director of the Ma'anshan Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau, attended the press conference. Liang Liang, deputy secretary-general of the China Institute of Electronics, spoke. Liang Liang said that humanoid robots and embodied intelligence technology have accelerated their evolution, and industrial development is entering an important window period for large-scale applications. Industrial development has shifted from focusing on technology and the supply side to gradually shifting to "targeting scenarios and solving problems." The focus of the industry has shifted from "jumping on the stage and running on the field" to "doing it in factories and using it in supermarkets". While mass production and implementation are accelerating, how to enable robots to understand the real environment and complete real tasks more safely and reliably has become an important issue in promoting the coordinated development of technology and industry. In order to implement the country's deployment on the innovative development of humanoid robots and embodied intelligence industries, and in response to the 2026 special action on real-life training of humanoid robots and embodied intelligence jointly launched by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Ma'anshan Municipal People's Government, the China Electronics Society, and the World Robot Cooperation Organization co-sponsored the Humanoid Robots and Embodied Intelligence Real-Scene Training Challenge. This challenge adheres to application traction, is based on the current development characteristics of the industry, takes into account technical capabilities, scene conditions and actual needs, and sets 13 competition items around the five major scenarios of "embodied intelligence + logistics, manufacturing, service, safety, culture and sports", and moves the "examination room" into Ma'anshan manufacturing enterprises, logistics enterprises, hotels, communities, supermarkets and other industries Generate life scenes, test technology and product maturity through real tasks, real environments and real working conditions, accumulate high-quality real machine data and industry implementation experience, promote the effective connection between innovation results and application needs, "promote research through competition, promote production through competition, and promote application through competition", injecting new impetus into the high-quality development of humanoid robots and embodied intelligence industries. Yi Maolin, member of the Standing Committee of the Ma'anshan Municipal Committee and executive deputy mayor, spoke. Yi Maolin said that Ma'anshan has an industrial cluster that has begun to take shape, and the city's artificial intelligence, machine
