Kuai Technology reported on August 20 that Xiaomi recently announced that Xiaomi’s new generation of humanoid robots will be unveiled at the 2026 World Robot Expo and will be launched at the “Embodied Garden” booth. According to reports, Xiaomi's new generation humanoid robot is transformed into a "florist" this time. It can complete actions such as grabbing scented tablets, scattering flowers and delivering them to the audience. It can also shake hands, bump fists, and compare hearts. The overall movements are natural and smooth. Xiaomi also released a live demonstration video. Officials said that behind these seemingly simple actions, from handing flowers, shaking hands to fist bumps and comparing hearts, large model-driven robots independently understand, judge and complete them. This means that the robot does not simply perform actions mechanically according to the preset program, but combines large model capabilities to understand on-site interactive instructions and scenarios, and then complete the corresponding operations autonomously. According to media reports, the robot is about 1.70 meters tall and weighs about 66 kilograms. It has 66 degrees of freedom throughout its body, half of which are concentrated in its hands to improve its fine operation and interaction capabilities. At present, Xiaomi's new generation humanoid robot is still in the prototype stage. After completing its first domestic exhibition, the robot will also go to Europe for display.
