The model of this camera is Vision Guard VG-15MV-66. It is equipped with Core Ultra 5 225H, a 14-core processor with a maximum frequency of 4.9GHz, integrated Intel Arc 130T core display, and dual 2.5GbE network ports. With such a powerful configuration, it is naturally not an ordinary surveillance camera. IT House learned from the official introduction that VG-15MV-66 is a complete edge AI monitoring platform that integrates computing power, cameras and outdoor deployment into one system. Unlike traditional installations that require separate cabinets, switches and power distribution equipment, the VG-15MV-66 integrates compute, network and Power over Ethernet (PoE) functions in an IP66-rated enclosure. Designed for outdoor and harsh environment deployments, the VG-15MV-66 enables local processing, connectivity and flexible installation in places with only common power sources, such as lampposts, roadside infrastructure and utility poles, without the need for external power conversion equipment or cabinets. This platform is based on Intel Core Ultra NUC-class compute modules and delivers the CPU and GPU performance needed to handle high-demand tasks such as edge AI and video analytics. The chassis supports direct camera mounting and features multiple mounting points for compatibility with a variety of fixed and PTZ cameras. Two external IP66-protected PoE RJ45 connectors provide power and network connectivity for up to three IP cameras, eliminating the need for a separate PoE switch at the installation site. VG-15MV-66 adopts a fully sealed, fanless, passive cooling design, has a wide operating temperature range, and the power supply and I/O interfaces are protected. It is suitable for long-term outdoor installation and can operate reliably and with low maintenance in various harsh environments.
