The company simulates material properties through AI models and screens potential solutions from a large number of candidate material structures, helping researchers reduce material development costs and shorten experimental cycles. Currently, CuspAI focuses on the research and development of new materials in semiconductors, energy, advanced manufacturing and other fields. It is worth noting that CuspAI completed over US$100 million (approximately RMB 680 million) in Series A financing in September 2025, led by NEA and Temasek, with participation from NVentures, the venture capital arm of NVIDIA. At that time, the company’s post-investment valuation was approximately US$520 million (approximately RMB 3.53 billion). In less than a year, CuspAI’s valuation increased from US$520 million (approximately RMB 3.52 billion) to US$2.6 billion (approximately RMB 17.6 billion), an increase of approximately 5 times. ▲CuspAI raised US$100 million in Series A financing (approximately RMB 680 million), with Nvidia’s investment institutions participating (Source: CuspAI) In addition to financing, CuspAI also announced the launch of the “AI Materials Foundry” platform, a cooperative alliance that brings together 48 leading technology companies, industrial companies and research institutions. Among them, NVIDIA will provide computing infrastructure support, and the Meta basic AI research team will also participate.
