Zhidongxi Author | ZeR0 Editor | Mo Ying Zhidongzhi reported on July 17 that today, during the World Artificial Intelligence Conference WAIC 2026, Qianwen announced that it would upgrade its AI glasses to smart glasses. After upgrading, the glasses can enhance service and decision-making capabilities through intelligent agents, and can call third-party skills and agents on demand. At the same time, Qianwen also launched a series of new hardware technologies such as full-duplex voice, eye tracking, and physical sign monitoring to enhance the perception and interaction capabilities of smart glasses with the physical world. In terms of auditory interaction, Qianwen upgraded the full-duplex speech model architecture, which not only allows listening and speaking at the same time, but also determines the interaction intention in real time and accurately distinguishes user instructions and environmental dialogue. In terms of visual perception, Qianwen introduced eye tracking and Always-on visual perception systems, and cooperated with Ant Group to launch iris cores to achieve high-security identity recognition. In terms of spatial experience, its 3D spatial display and 3D spatial audio have also received comprehensive upgrades. At the same time, the Qianwen team has also implemented the industry's first real-time monitoring of user physical signs on AI glasses. Through built-in PPG and temperature sensors, it can measure heart rate, blood oxygen, HRV and other data, and can provide users with personalized AI health interpretation reports. It can also enable the intelligent body to form an exclusive health memory for the user, making related questions and answers and services more targeted. Through richer real-world perception information, Qianwen smart glasses will become users' true portable AI assistants. For example, when working or reading for a long time, Qianwen can combine the user's line of sight changes, blink frequency and physical condition to determine whether eye fatigue occurs, and remind the user to take a rest, look into the distance, or adjust their sitting posture at the appropriate time. After long-term use, it can also provide interpretation and improvement suggestions based on changes in health data, forming a proactive health service from monitoring, reminders to analysis and suggestions. "An agent without hardware cannot touch reality. Hardware without an agent is just a tool. Therefore, we hope to use the best hardware and the best agents to create the best AI assistant for users." Wu Jianjun, general manager of Qianwen AI hardware products, said at the launch site. According to reports, the above hardware technology will be applied within the year
