This is the third round of large-scale financing that MemoraX AI has obtained in a short period of time, following the seed round in April this year and the seed + round in May. This round of financing will focus on investing in the underlying core technology of long-term memory for large models, and promote the standardized research and development and large-scale commercialization of memory modules for B-side and C-side interactive products. MemoraX AI was founded in March 2026 and focuses on building long-term memory capabilities for large models. Its founder and CEO is Hao Jianye, currently a professor at the Department of Intelligent Computing at Tianjin University, a doctoral supervisor, and the former director of Huawei's Noah's Ark Decision and Reasoning Laboratory. According to the Tianjin University Deep Reinforcement Learning Laboratory Hao Jianzhu’s homepage, he graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree and a Ph.D. from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on game intelligence. After graduating from the Ph.D., he also engaged in postdoctoral research in the MIT-Singapore University of Technology and Design joint project. In 2015, Hao Jianye returned to China to teach at Tianjin University, where he led the establishment of a deep reinforcement learning laboratory. This laboratory was also one of the earliest scientific research teams in China to systematically carry out research in this direction.
