It’s been online for less than a day! Apple customer service responds to official website deletion of Qianwen user manual

Kuai Technology reported on August 9 that it was reported that the Mac section of Apple’s official website in China had previously launched a user guide, which stated that the National Bank’s Apple Smart could be linked to the Alibaba Qianwen large model, which once made the market believe that Apple’s National Bank AI function was about to be implemented. However, this document was officially removed less than a day after it went online. Currently, the official website only retains the relevant instructions for Apple smart pairing ChatGPT. In response to the removal of the document, Apple customer service responded that this set of AI smart functions is not currently available in mainland China. The relevant supporting services are still undergoing the approval process and must be reviewed by relevant departments before they can be officially launched. The launch time and specific details of the function are subject to Apple's official announcement. Combing the public information, we can see that in mid-July, the Internet Information Platform announced the generative AI registration list. The "Apple Smart" declared by Apple's domestic entities has completed the registration procedures, and the scope of the registration is Apple mobile phone products. At the same time as the filing information was announced, Alibaba officials also confirmed that the Qianwen model will be integrated into the Apple smart system as a core AI capability, covering the entire range of national devices including iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Vision Pro. Relying on the cooperation plan between the two, users can call Qianwen in Apple's native system to complete image and text analysis, content creation and other operations without switching third-party apps. Both Siri and system writing tools can directly access related capabilities. The user manual was briefly online and then urgently deleted, which also reflects the uncertainty in the process of the official commercialization of Apple Smart Distance by the Bank of China. Even if basic registration is completed, product launch still needs to go through complete regulatory approvals, functional adaptation and other links. Consumers who want to experience Qianwen’s smart services on Apple devices still need to wait for official follow-up notifications.
