IT House reported on July 26 that Qiyuan Xinchuang (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanwei New Material Technology Co., Ltd., officially settled in Pudong. According to reports, Qiyuan Innovation is a key artificial intelligence project in Shanghai and was signed during the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. The project was launched in Zhangjiang Robot Valley. The project plans to continue to invest a large amount of R&D expenses in the next three years, focusing on the construction of an R&D center to create a fully self-developed Primemind base model; build a product design innovation center to launch no less than 2 new consumer-grade robot products every year; build a large-scale full-scenario test assembly base, and build an ecological co-construction and sharing base. Shangwei New Materials said it has launched the world's first small-sized full-body force-control humanoid robot Q1 and the world's first deformable personal robot Qiyuan T1. The company has successively launched offline experience stores in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xi'an, Xiamen, Guangzhou and other cities. In the future, users can experience Qiyuan Robot products at close range offline.
