Samsung One UI 9

2 min read
Samsung One UI 9.5 can use AI to allow users to design their own widgets. Google’s new Gemini Intelligence artificial intelligence system has a function called “Create My Widget”. This function can automatically understand the needs and place the generated customized widget directly on the mobile home screen by receiving the user's natural language description. The latest leaked news shows that Samsung seems to be preparing to include similar or even identical features in its upcoming One UI 9.5 system. According to the system screenshot shared by tipster Fahad Ali Javed, the Samsung version of this feature is named "My Custom Widget (My Custom Widget)." It is still unclear whether this is just a renaming of the Google function, or whether it is a competing solution independently developed by Samsung. As early as May this year, Google had publicly shown a demonstration video of “Create My Widget” and announced that it would push this feature to Pixel and Galaxy devices in late summer. iframe (fdn.gsmarena.com) Samsung’s newly released Galaxy Z Fold8, Z Fold8 Ultra and Z Flip8 are the first Samsung models to support Gemini Intelligence. If "My Custom Widget" is indeed just a repackaging of the Google feature, then these three devices should be the first phones to get the feature. However, these new phones come pre-installed with the One UI 9.0 system, so users will most likely need to wait for the system to be upgraded to version 9.5 to experience this new feature. Whether this feature is developed by Samsung itself or directly adopts the Google solution, this update rhythm should not change. Recently, more screenshots and videos of the actual operation of One UI 9.5 have leaked out, further revealing the future direction of Samsung's new system. via cnBeta.COM - Chinese industry information station (author: source: cnBeta.COM)
